Well, I’m glad you asked. It’s an epic tale about a young African American girl who wakes up in the middle of the night to her favorite stuffed panda-king teddy bear. He blames her for things she couldn’t possibly have done. After throwing a couple of objects towards the teddy bear and an irritated conversation, she does what most kids would do. She agrees to go on a journey to the Otherworld to get him back to his original body. She believes it’s a dream anyway, so what’s the harm? This magical fantasy fiction story will sweep you away into a whimsical yet eerie portal adventure with an unlikely teddy bear as you meet bizarre creatures and spellbinding places, all while someone or something lurks behind your every step.
